WEST COAST Engineering Works Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated in 1974 as a small unit with a specific objective of manufacturing industrial floor gratings and to also look for opportunities into other allied products in future.

This was a time when Indian economy was closely guarded in every respect from forces of outside world. One immediate fall out of this was that it left Indian industry in somewhat deprived state. All this changed within one decade and by 1984-85 Indian economy slowly started shedding its inhibitions by way of liberalized policies and adopting a business friendly attitude. With these winds of change, Indian Industries energized and started thinking globally by expanding and diversifying into unexplored horizons.

WEST COAST, with a decade of solid experience, also grew in that period, leaving its foot print firmly behind as years passed by. Our team, production centres and ideas grew. From one product to a multi-product, multifaceted company. This single minded approach and dedication to strive for the best has put us to where we are today. Be it any industry, power, fertilizer, chemical, petrochemicals or offshore platforms, we feel proud that our products have been supplied and accepted by all prestigious projects countrywide and world wide. Awards and certificates which we received from time to time speaks for themselves.

Our rich experience many a times puts us in a unique position of being a consultant cum vendor, when our input, by way of advise on designs is called for. This has helped our clients in cutting costs and getting a superior designed techno-economic product in the bargain. Our brand names ALUGRATE/ALURAIL/ALULAD have become generic brand names.

With 50 years of rich experience we have concluded that progress is depended not only on the tri factor of Quality, cost and timely delivery but by providing value addition, product and service wise to our customers.
